Iya has been a fund lawyer throughout her impressive career. She held various positions at renowned Luxembourg law firms, working on the setting up, restructuring, marketing, operation and liquidation of regulated and unregulated funds. On top of this, she also gained invaluable insight in a management company where she went for a secondment and at a renowned financial institution where she worked for 4 years as a legal advisor, more specifically on the post-trading aspects of investment funds as well as trade repository services. She has a striking talent for languages and has knowledge of corporate laws. In addition to all these skills, she has a pragmatic, yet meticulous working style, excellent communication skills and a friendly and accommodating nature.
