Your mission:

With in-depth public and private sector experience, the lawyer will advise employers and organizations on a wide range of workplace issues across all aspects of collective and individual employment law.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Assist clients navigating workplace issues like the termination of employees, compensation, unregulated pensions and benefits, social security, workplace conflict, employment agreements, privacy issues, or employment standards compliance;
  • Deal with employment related aspects of restructurings, transfers of business or business immigration;
  • Work closely with other departments and contribute to B&R’s transactional, advisory and litigation services offer;
  • Manage out-of-court assistance but also litigation aspects in court;
  • Contribute to the Firm’s knowledge, assist with the development of templates and other know-how and presenting at internal and external events
  • Contribute to pitches and proposals.

Your profile: 

  • Master degree in law and are registered as avocat à la Cour with the Luxembourg bar (preferably list 1);
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a Luxembourg law firm in the above-mentioned field;
  • Strong background in civil and commercial law;
  • Reliable, solution oriented and client focused;
  • Fluent and spoken English, French and Luxembourgish, German will be considered an asset;
  • Excellent communication, writing and analytical skills, immaculate drafting skills;
  • High standards of ethics and integrity, matching B&R’s values.
